New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Llyn Clywedog Trout Fishery, at Llyn Clywedog, Clywedog, Llanidloes, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 31.

And Caffi Clywedog, at Fan, Llanidloes, Powys was given a score of two on May 31.

It means that of Powys's 410 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 278 (68%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
