New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Town Kebab and Pizzas, at 49 Maengwyn Street, Machynlleth, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 14.

And China Garden, at 40 Maengwyn Street, Machynlleth, Powys was given a score of two on August 14.

It means that of Powys's 97 takeaways with ratings, 51 have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
