Route leader Evan Lewis on his Ford 3000
Starting from Dolwen Field at 10.30am, the procession of tractors, 4x4s and even a classic Ford Escort left following route leader, Evan Lewis on his Ford 3000 on their tour of the area.
The route took in the communities of Cefn Gorwydd, circulating around Cynala to Llangammarch Wells.
The covoy then travelled on to Garth, Cribarth, across Comin Coch Common to Sarn Helen and onto Llanfan Fawr Village Hall. Here the tractors stopped for cakes, tea and coffee and where the raffle was drawn.
After the break, it was off again around Cwmchwefru to Glandulais. They then turned back onto the B4358 before heading right to Cefnhafdref to pick up the farm track to Llwynowen through the upper reaches of the Afon Cammarch.
The Ford Escort made a detour around the tarred road via Beulah to avoid the off-road track and stream crossing.
Onto Agergwesyn, the covoy turned down the Irfon Valley and passed Cwm Irfon before heading for home, where back marker Jim Davies shepherded the last of the convoy back into Llanwrtyd Wells.
The organisers of the Llanwrtyd Tractor Run wish to thank all participants and landowners and helpers in raising funds for the Play Park Project.
