A garden centre has raised more than £1,000 for two charities with its Spooky Halloween Walk.

The Old Railway Line Garden Centre raised £1,005 for #BeMoreFrank, a special fund of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, and the Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust.

This year’s Halloween Walk, which ran throughout October, attracted families from the local community, providing a fun, spine-chilling experience while raising awareness and charity funds. All proceeds will go directly to supporting groundbreaking research and supporting families affected by childhood cancer.

Matthew Lewis, Retail and Events Manager at the Old Railway Line Garden Centre said: "We're overjoyed by the incredible generosity of our visitors. It’s truly inspiring to see so many people come together to support these amazing charities, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed. Every donation brings us closer to better outcomes for children and families impacted by cancer."

The garden centre thanks all visitors who made this year’s walk a memorable success.

As the Old Railway Line moves into the festive season, visitors can look forward to exploring this year’s impressive Christmas displays, which have been specially designed to spread festive cheer and celebrate the magic of Christmas. With a wide range of beautiful decorations, lights, and festive gifts, the displays promise to delight guests of all ages.
