New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Halo at 48 - 49 Upper House Farm, Standard Street, Crickhowell, Powys; rated on April 19

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Golden Lion Inn at Newbridge On Wye, Llandrindod Wells, Powys; rated on April 26
• Rated 5: The Clarence at The Watton, Brecon, Powys; rated on April 25
