New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Something Tasty at Liverpool House, Llanfyllin, Powys; rated on February 4
• Rated 5: Cylch Meithrin Llanrhaeadr YM at Ysgol Llanrhaeadr Ym, Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, Oswestry, Shropshire; rated on February 3
• Rated 5: Beautifully Bonkers at 24 High Street, Builth Wells, Powys; rated on January 30
• Rated 5: Norris Catering Industries at T/A The Granary, 17 Parkers Lane, Newtown, Powys; rated on January 30
• Rated 5: The Soup Club at Village Hall, Llandrinio, Llanymynech, Powys; rated on January 30
