New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Castle Coaching Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Trecastle, Brecon, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 13.

And The Feathers Association Welshpool, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Howell Drive, Welshpool, Powys was also given a score of five on July 8.
