New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Bookish, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 18 High Street, Crickhowell, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 29.

And Kwai Chin, a takeaway at 15 Market Street, Newtown, Powys was also given a score of five on February 28.
