New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Westwood Park Hotel, a pub, bar or nightclub at Salop Road, Welshpool, Powys was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 18.

And Edinburgh Woollen Mill, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Old Station, Severn Road, Welshpool was also given a score of five on February 12.
