This collaborative initiative aims to engage students with the arts, providing them with an opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting. The takeover will feature a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and multimedia pieces, all created by the students.

“This exciting takeover is a testament to the incredible creativity of our local students,” said Tom True, Director of Hay Castle. We are proud to put schools at the heart of our programme, to provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talents, and to support their artistic journeys."

The schools' takeover of Hay Castle Gallery is part of a broader effort to foster a love for the arts within the community and build links with local schools while encouraging both creativity and learning about the Arts industry. This is the first year that it is to take place and Hay Castle Trust hope that it can become a regular fixture.
