The fire service is holding a recruitment evening in Hay-on-Wye next week.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently recruiting for on-call firefighters to serve the community of Hay.

Anyone interested is invited to Hay-on-Wye Fire Station this coming Monday, June 24 (6:30pm - 8pm).

As well as recruitment information, the evening will include live demonstrations and provide an opportunity to meet and greet staff.

Refreshments will also be available.
