Ystradgynlais Minor Injury Unit has closed early for Christmas, says the health board.

Powys Teaching Health Board says the Minor Injury Unit (MIU) at Ystradgynlais Community Hospital on Glanrhyd Road will be closed until December 28.

The closure is due to staff sickness.

The health board said on social media: "Please accept our apologies that Ystradgynlais MIU is closed due to staff sickness on December 22 and 23. Ystradgynlais MIU is normally open Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays so will re-open on Wednesday, December 28."
