The Lally family from Glasbury is excited to announce their 25th annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The event will take place at Llanigon Village Hall on Saturday, September 28, from 8:30am to 12 midday.
Over the past 25 years, the family has raised an incredible £45,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, and this year, they are aiming to reach the £50,000 milestone.
The event promises a fantastic morning filled with coffee, cake, bacon rolls, a plant stall, books, bric-a-brac, and much more. This year’s raffle features an exciting first prize - a UK weekend away, kindly donated by Tread Lightly Travel.
The Lally family has a personal connection to the charity, having been supported by Macmillan in the past, and is eager to give back to the community through this special event.
Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy the atmosphere, and help raise vital funds.
A spokesperson from Macmillan Cancer Support said: "Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest annual fundraiser. Because of people like Bronwyn and Marian, we can continue to be there for everyone in the local area with cancer who needs us, from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond - no matter what their situation is.
“Their fundraising means we can help with the things that matter the most to people including support from our amazing Macmillan nurses, help with money and the extra costs that living with cancer can bring, or emotional support through the Macmillan Support Line."
