I was in Crickhowell on 25th February for a pub lunch at the Bear Hotel, but when it came to pay for my meal I realised I had lost my wallet.
Initially I thought I had left it at home, despite a thorough search I could not locate my wallet.
I rang one of my credit card companies to cancel my card and was about to phone another.
Before I did, a gentleman rang me to say he had found my wallet (my telephone number was in the wallet). He kindly agreed to take the wallet to the Bear Hotel and leave it in reception.
I took the gentleman’s name, address and telephone number but unfortunately have misplaced the note I made.
The gentleman was from Cradoc and I would be grateful if you would print this letter to show my appreciation for him ringing me and also to the Bear Hotel to agreeing to keep the wallet until I could collect it.
Kind regards,
Peter Lewis, Hereford
