Llandrindod Wells Town Council has launched a survey to find out if there is support for a monthly street market in the town.

The town council is looking at the idea of closing off Middleton Street for one Saturday a month in order to hold a street market for street traders.

The reason behind the idea is that Saturday is the quietest trading day on Middleton Street, with the least footfall, and it is also a quiet time for traffic and parking levels.

It is also perceived that there would also be more tourists in the area on a Saturday.

The survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/95TGVJJ and is open until March 1, 2025.
