A man has been arrested in Brecon today on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.

Police received a report of a male with a firearm in Brecon at around 2pm.

The man, aged 25, has been arrested and remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “One man, aged 25, has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and remains in police custody.

“Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.”
