A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash on the A470 yesterday.

He has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries, police have said.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at about 10:30am, on Sunday, October 27.

A silver Mercedes and a white Renault Megane were involved in the crash, which took place on the A470 between Brecon and Libanus.

Three people were taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “One of the people taken to hospital, a 39-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit. He has been released on conditional bail pending further police enquiries.”

The road was closed and reopened at 5:15pm.
