IEUAN Price, from Penycrug Farm, Llanafan, ran the Man v Horse race on June 10 this year, which was 23.1 miles of rough terrain, and raised £2,214.

He split the money and gave half to the South Powys Parkinson’s branch and the other half to the Trust Umbrella Charity for the new one-stop prostate cancer unit in Hereford County Hospital.

These two causes were chosen by Ieuan as they are charities that have helped his family a lot and are very close to his heart.
