On Saturday, October 5, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team assisted a young walker who suffered an ankle injury on Fan y Big.
The rescue team’s all-terrain vehicle managed to reach the young casualty, who was then treated for the pain by the rescue team volunteers.
They then transported the walker off the hill to an awaiting ambulance.
The mountain rescue team have been called out seven times since September 12.
A spokesperson for the team has said: “As you can see we have been quite busy! Many thanks to all our supporters.”
Brecon Mountain Rescue Team is an emergency service staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely by public donations.
