The Best of Brecon Awards are now accepting nominations for its 2023 ceremony.

Brecon Town Council is asking for nominations of someone who makes a difference in Brecon and deserves recognition.

The awards, which are now in their third year, celebrate the work of volunteers and community groups in Brecon.

Brecon Town Council would like residents, community groups and businesses to nominate volunteers to win awards in seven special categories.

• Young Volunteer award

• Volunteer of the Year award

• Award for Voluntary Group or Team of the Year

• Personal Achievement award

• Trustee award

• Community Business award

• Mayor’s award for Outstanding Contribution

The online form is available to fill in at: https://brecontowncouncil.org.uk/award-nominations/

To make a nomination, outline how and why the nominee has made an outstanding contribution to the broader life of the town and deserves recognition for that contribution.

The judges will select the most appropriate category under which nominations will be considered and awarded. Nominees may be considered under more than one category.
