The Old Railway Line Garden Centre is thrilled to announce donations of £1,002 from their recent ‘Spooky Halloween Walk’, to be donated to Wales Air Ambulance.

In a spooktacular display of community spirit, the garden centre, in Three Cocks, hosted a Halloween Walk that has not only sent shivers down the spines of its visitors but also encouraged voluntary donations from the hundreds of people who passed through.

The Spooky Halloween Walk was open for two weeks in the lead up to Halloween and the half term week after, raising an astonishing £1002 in donations from people who embraced the spirit of giving during the Halloween season.

The Halloween Walk at the garden centre has become a beloved annual tradition for local families and visitors alike.

This years’ experience, while filled with eerie decorations and ghoulish delights, had an extra special element: a commitment to supporting a charitable cause. Participants were encouraged to make donations as they strolled through the hauntingly enchanting pathway.

The sum raised will go toward Wales Air Ambulance, who are purely funded through charitable donations. They operate some of the most advanced air ambulances in the UK, saving precious time and lives.

Event Manager, Matthew Lewis, said: “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers.

“The Halloween Walk has always been about bringing people together for a memorable experience, and this year, the generous donations have been the icing on the cake.

“We’re thrilled to be able to donate over £1000 to support our Charity of the Year, Wales Air Ambulance further in their vital work.”
