The Penybont Tractor Run Charity Group has presented a cheque for £1,500 to Blood Bike Wales.
The donation, which includes a £200 contribution from The Severn Arms in Penybont from a charity quiz evening, was handed over to Helen and Steve Powell from the charity.
Blood Bikes Wales is a 100 per cent volunteer-run charity based in Wales, providing a completely free courier service to the NHS. They deliver blood samples, plasma, donated human milk, documents, and other items across the country.
The annual Penybont Tractor Run took place over the summer, starting and finishing at the Racecourse in Penybont. The 25-mile run has grown in popularity and was as successful as ever this year.
Stephen Bufton of Penybont was awarded the prize for Best Tractor.
