RESIDENTS opposing plans to build a 75 foot high radio mast in Howey, Llandrindod Wells are stepping up their campaign to prevent it.

Network Rail (NR) plans to build the mast on its own land in the south of the town next year as part of a nationwide scheme to improve communications between drivers and signallers and reduce the risk of serious accidents.
