A Powys restaurant has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Market Munchies Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 11c Broad Street, Welshpool, Powys was given the minimum score after assessment on December 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Powys's 416 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 266 (64%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
