Powys County Council, in partnership with the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, is hosting a free online session aimed at raising awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

The session will give parents and community members an opportunity to learn more about the risks associated with CSE, how it can occur, and the support available for those affected. The aim is to educate residents and equip them with the knowledge to protect children and take action if necessary.

The sessions will be held on two occasions, both from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Cllr Sandra Davies, Cabinet Member for Future Generations, said: “Child Sexual Exploitation is a form of child abuse. It can have devastating and long-lasting effects on children and their families. This session aims to raise awareness of this form of abuse, within our communities.

“We want to support our residents in seeking help and taking action.”

To take part, attendees are required to register in advance to receive the session link. To register, please email: [email protected].
