A Powys woman has thanked all those who helped make her 100th birthday celebration special.
On Saturday March, 2 Mona Rees (neé Hughes) turned 100 years old.
Momo, as she is affectionately known, was joined by family and friends as she reminisced and opened presents and more than 110 cards.
Mona lives in Beulah with her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Edwin Lewis.
She was born in Garth on a snowy afternoon in 1924. She settled in Beulah and married her childhood sweetheart Lance, with whom she shared many happy years.
Mona is proud to have worked as an assistant to photographer P B Abery in Builth Wells.
Mona would like to thank all who sent cards, flowers and presents.
