Radnor Young Farmers Club officials are bracing themselves for what is always one of the busiest mornings of the year when tickets for the Federation’s Drama Festival go on sale next week.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Saturday, January 20.
County Chairman Ella Harris says that with 11 drama productions, 18 one plus and nine time to shine entries, sales are likely to be stronger than ever.
“It is one of our most popular events of the year and the phone lines are always manic - and this year should be no exception,” she said.
“Audiences look forward to the annual trip to the Albert Hall in Llandrindod for a jam-packed week of entertainment and with every club entering a production of some type there will be strong demand from across the county.
“So, there is certainly going to be no shortage of interest in tickets for the week and we would really encourage those wanting to attend to not leave it too late.”
Clubs across Radnor are already practising for the week-long Festival, which is due to run from Tuesday, February 13 through to the Gala Finals Night on Saturday, February 17.
Tickets will go on sale by phone at 9am on Saturday, January, 20.
The ticket line phone numbers are: 01597 829008/ 824096 and 07706062851.
Ms Harris is urging customers to be patient.
“We will get to you as soon as we can but, while we get in extra volunteers to help, it does take a while to process each order,” she said.
“But keep trying as it will be worth the wait.”
