Friday, December 8 saw Hay Dial-a-Ride’s annual Christmas Carol Concert take place at St Mary’s Church in Hay.
The event saw its best ever turnout with many members, volunteers and supporters attending to enjoy the service.
The Wye Border Singers, led by Val Whiston, sang beautifully with plenty of opportunities for the congregation to join in with the many carols and songs performed.
The service was followed by tea and mince pies and the chance for attendees to have a good chat with one another.
Overall the event raised more than £900, including Christmas raffle ticket sales.
Dial-a-Ride would like to thank the McCarthy Stone Foundation for their grant which funded the refreshments and transport to the service for some of our members.
The event was another great success and a lovely way to bring people together at Christmas.
