A set of public toilets in a Powys car park will close for around eight weeks in order for a payment system to be installed.
The toilets in the Dark Lane car park in Rhayader will close from midnight on Sunday, September 8.
Rhayader Town Council has said the closure is for upgrades to take place to improve efficiency, as well as the installation of a payment mechanism.
The town council said the changes will “safeguard these toilets for the forseeable future”.
During the closure, Rhayader Leisure Centre has offered their facilities during their opening hours.
“Our local independent eateries would love to welcome you in for a cuppa,” said the town council.
“Apologies for the inconvenience caused but in order to keep them functioning this work will need to happen,” they added.
