A Rotary quiz night has helped raise hundreds of pounds for Builth Wells Community Support (BWCS).
A cheque for £400 was recently presented to Sally Dwyer by Builth Rotary President, Robert Evans.
Ms Dwyer, a trustee for Community Support, was thankful that Builth Wells Rotary Club was able to help make an impact on locally-run schemes that support people in living healthy and independent lives within their community.
BWCS services are partly funded by proceeds raised in the charity shop. However, they face a revenue shortfall and rely entirely on grants and donations to meet this gap.
Any donations that are received by BWCS will directly benefit the people of Builth Wells and the surrounding area.
