Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were called out by Dyfed-Powys Police yesterday (Sunday) to help search for a vulnerable male walking with a head injury in the waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons.
Incident Controllers had enough information to agree with local police officers that they would commence a search of the main paths between Dinas Rock Car Park and the four Waterfalls Trail.
As the 13 team members were arriving, they received confirmation from the local officers that they’d located the gentlemen near the car park.
Casualty Care Medics offered medical treatment assistance to the gentleman, but it was not needed.
After the team's 22nd callout of the year, a spokesperson said: "We are grateful for a successful outcome, we stood down and returned to our base and homes."
