Members of the public are being warned to stay away from the edge of Pen y Fan's cliff face after a sheep teeters on the edge.
The Brecon Mountain Rescue Team have been made aware of the ewe, which is stuck on the side of Pen y Fan Mountain. As there is a drop beneath the sheep, people are being warned not to attempt their own rescues.
Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said on Facebook: "Please do not put yourself or others in any danger to attempt to rescue the animal. It is likely that the sheep will self-rescue if left alone."
People flooded the comments to request updates on the sheep, with others saying that the sheep shouldn't be left alone.
Brecon Mountain Rescue Team added: "In relation to the report of the sheep being stuck on the north face of Pen y Fan. This situation is being reviewed. We are particularly concerned that members of the public may attempt to rescue and put themselves in danger."
The Brecon and Radnor Express has contacted Brecon Mountain Rescue Team for an update.
