People across Brecon experienced an internet outage tonight after Sky messaged customers to report of an outage.

People in Brecon complained of losing internet service, with some people saying they also lost connection to Sky Glass, a TV service offered by Sky.

The outage has spread to some people in Hay-on-Wye, Llandrindod, Talgarth, Builth Wells and Three Cocks.

One person said they spoke to Sky and were told that a large area had been affected and that the area could be without internet for two days.

A text message to customers from Sky said: 'You may be having issues with your Phone & Broadband services just now. We're sorry & working to fix this.'
