The first significant snowfall of 2017 has attracted fun seekers to Pen y Fan.
Families, who said they were fortunate the snowfall had arrived on a school inset day, took advantage to head for the hills for sledging and snowball fights.
Many walkers also took the opportunity to climb the highest peak in southern Britain.
The car park at Storey Arms, off the main Brecon to Merthyr Tydfil A470, was a hub of activity for those setting of to enjoy the weather but there was none of the parking chaos sometimes experienced during at busy periods.Our photographer Peter Williams headed to the foot of Pen y Fan to capture the winter wonderland on camera.
