Celebrate St David’s Day with a scenic walk through Llangynidr’s charming lanes, canals, and woodlands. Embrace Welsh heritage, wear a daffodil, and enjoy the beauty of Bannau Brycheiniog!

The five mile walk organised by Walk Hay is taking place on Saturday, March 1.

St David’s Day Parade - Monday, March 3

Don’t forget, The 'Criw Cymraeg,' made up of schools in Brecon and the surrounding areas are carrying out their annual St David’s Day parade, singing welsh songs in Bethel Square on Monday, March 3.

Brecon schools and the community will gather in Bethel Square at 10.15am to sing a selection of Welsh songs including, Sosban Fach, Yma o Hyd, Hei Mistar Urdd, Calon Lân, and the National Anthem. They will then march in a procession towards Y Gaer, where they will sing a couple of songs again.
