Members of Pontfaen YFC competed at the Wales YFC Speaking Day at Llanelwedd recently.

Sian Healey was a member of the winning senior Brainstrust team along with Elin Havard, Libby Davies (Sennybrigdge) and Megan Powell (Erwood). Elin was also awarded top speaker.

The team will now go on to represent Wales at the National Speaking Day in July.

Chloe Williams gained second place in the Intermediate Situations Vacant competition and will also go through to the national finals.

Chloe also took part in the Call my Bluff along with Rachel and Chloe E gaining fifth place. Nia was Chairman of the Public Speaking team gaining fifth place.

Members are now gearing up ready to represent the County at the Wales YFC Field Day on Saturday,

April 15 at Trawscoed, Ceredigion.
