Talgarth Post Office is set to move to a new location as The Co-operative Food store, where it is currently based, is to move to Hay Road.

The Post Office, currently based at The Square (LD3 0BW), is planned to follow The Co-op to the new site (LD3 0AW). The new location will have a dedicated customer car park.

The community will benefit as the new branch will be open daily and with extended hours.

The new opening hours would be Monday to Sunday: 8am - 6pm. 

This would provide 70 hours of Post Office service a week. This would be an extra 24 hours of Post Office service a week including all day Sunday, Saturday afternoon, earlier opening and later closing every day.
