A renowned Brecon singer and songwriter will be performing at Crickhowell’s Clarence Hall next month.
Tanya Walker will present an evening of music at 7pm on Saturday, November 9.
The concert will take the audience on an emotional journey through life’s highs and lows, with a performance that includes a unique blend of piano-driven folk and pop-inspired songs.
The event is supported by Black Mountains Festivals.
Tanya, who is an established composer and performer, is the 2023 winner of the Global Songwriting Competition "Talent Is Timeless”. She is renowned for her authentic, soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, with her music encompassing the universal themes of love, loss and resilience.
The set will include her recent winning single "Good Days, Bad Days", released through JAM Records and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
In addition to an impressive solo career, which includes supporting Tim Minchin at the Barclaycard Arena during Hay Festival, Tanya is the Musical Director of the Alive & Kickin’ Community Choir from Brecon.
For this special concert, Tanya will be joined by the choir and other guest performers, promising an evening rich in musical collaboration.
