On Sunday 23 April, from 9am to 3pm, there will be a temporary road closure of the B4350 Belmont Road in Hay-on-Wye.

Work is being carried out in the town by Wales & West Utilities. They will be repairing the defective reinstatement.

A spokesperson from Powys Highways has said: "Powys County Council gives notice that from 23 April 2023 (9am-3pm), a traffic order is prohibiting vehicular traffic from proceeding a length of the B4350 Belmont Road, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford."

Residents access to the road will be maintained on the day and access for emergency vehicles will also be maintained.

The alternative route for vehicle users will be signposted.
