Drivers have been told to plan alternative routes after a lorry crashed into a wall near Crickhowell.
The large vehicle collided with the wall on the A4077, Crickhowell Road, to Gilwern before midday.
Both Dyfed-Powys Police and Gwent Police have warned motorists to drive carefully while the site of the incident is being cleared and to attempt to find new routes.
Breconshire Police tweeted a picture of the lorry and said: “A4077 between Crickhowell and Gilwern currently closed, please seek alternative route.”
Meanwhile Gwent Police tweeted: “Gwent Police are dealing with an RTC on Crickhowell Road, Gilwern.
“The road is not closed, however it is causing a disruption to traffic. Please approach carefully or if possible taken another route for your journey. Thank you.”
Nobody was injured and the road was partially blocked until the lorry was recovered at around 1.15pm.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said that it was in the Gwent Police area, but she confirmed that “a lorry had crashed into a wall”.
