Members from Trecastle YFC represented Brecknock at the National Cookery Finals held at the Malvern Autumn Show last month.
For the second year in a row, the same team from Trecastle took the ultimate prize of first place.
The theme for this year’s competition was a three-course meal for a special occasion.
The team of Isobel, Megan and Alys chose St Dwynwen’s Day.
On the day, the team was given three mystery ingredients which they had to incorporate into their menu. The mystery ingredients were pear, chocolate and parsnip.
Isobel was also awarded the prize for best presentation for her salmon starter.
All three members were absolutely delighted and extremely proud to have won two years in a row.
