The London Film Music Orchestra brought some cinematic magic to Brecon Cathedral this week with performances of some of the most iconic scores of all time.

The ‘Tribute to Hans Zimmer & Film Favourites Illuminated’ show featured music from not only the virtuoso German but also from legendary composer, John Williams.

The two titans of the industry have a hefty catalogue, which was magically brought to life by the talented touring orchestra, in the beautiful surroundings of the cathedral.

Audiences were taken on a musical journey through the decades, from Star Wars and Indiana Jones, right through to Pirates of the Caribbean and Man of Steel.

My colleague, Tim has written an excellent article on his experience at Wednesday evening’s performance.

But here’s a video from last night’s performance to give you a flavour of what audiences were treated to this week.
