A traditional field hedge has been planted to support nature and wildlife in Powys, as part of a volunteer day organised by Mid Wales-based non-profit organisation Wilba.
More than 400 saplings, including dogwood, hawthorn, hazel, and blackthorn, were planted by six volunteers at a project site near Llanbister Road, Llandrindod Wells.
Volunteers and funding are still needed to support Wilba, which is based in Llandrindod Wells, in its ongoing conservation efforts.
Rachael Lewis, Wilba's Projects and Marketing Coordinator, expressed her gratitude: "We would like to thank everyone who gave up their valuable time to help on the day."
Wilba is a small non-profit organisation dedicated to helping farmers and landowners protect nature and wildlife without compromising their businesses' operations.
