The 'Criw Cymraeg,' made up of schools in Brecon and the surrounding areas gathered in Bethel Square in the centre of Brecon today to celebrate St David’s Day.
To mark the occasion, spectators joined the schools to sing a selection of Welsh songs that included: Sosban Fach, Yma o Hyd, Hei Mistar Urdd, Calon Lân, and the National Anthem.
Draped in welsh flags, traditional clothing, Daffodils and more, the school children made their way to Y Gaer where they did more singing.
An all-new St David’s Day hunt for children took place this year in the half term week, as well as a competition for shops and businesses in the town to decorate their buildings for St David’s Day.
