Brecknock YFC held their Annual Stockman Day at Brecon Livestock Market recently, by the kind permission of McCartneys Auctioneers.
The Federation commented how it was great to see so many members competing, especially in the junior section.
The standard was outstanding right across the board - congratulations to all involved.
Brecknock YFC would like to thank the judges Mike Hanson, Hefin Gibbon, Jamie Jerman, Josh Christopher, Rob Lewis, Hefin Evans and Martin Trumper.
They would also like to thank the stock providers Annie Lewis, Phil and Tracey Jones, and Daniel Weale for once again providing outstanding stock.
They would also like to thank stewards, timekeepers, and county officials for ensuring the day ran smoothly.
They would like to thank their main sponsors Hay & Brecon Framers and NFU Cymru, competition day sponsors, for their continued support.
Finally, they would like to thank all of the members, parents, and trainers for taking part.
Congratulations to Emily, of Builth Wells YFC, for winning Overall Stockman Day 16 Years and Ander, Cerys of Sennybridge YFC for winning Overall Stockman Day 18 Years and Ynder, Megan of Sennybridge YFC for winning Overall Stockman Day 21 Years and Under and Rhian of Pontfaen YFC for winning Overall Stockman Day 28 Years and Under.
Emily of Builth Wells YFC also went on to win the Caleb Roberts Trophy for the overall Junior Stockman of the year and Elin of Sennybridge YFC won the FUW Trophy for the Overall Senior Stockman of the Year.
