PONTFAEN Young Farmers’ Club is the proud host of the 75th annual Brecknock Rally this Saturday, June 1.

The event, which sees members take part in a range of competitions from stock judging to fancy dress, is taking place at Pentre Farm, Merthyr Cynog near Brecon. The Davies family, spanning three generation are well versed in hosting as this is the fifth time the Rally has been at The Pentre.

Rally Day offers a wide range of experiences and personal development opportunities for all members with competitions ranging from cookery to shearing, singing and dancing, floral art to handwriting and ending the day with the crowd-pleasing Tug of War.

Members, parents and friends of Pontfaen YFC have been busy preparing the site ready for the day. Competitions start from 9am and the Rally Dance kicks off at 8pm with the band Northern Ruins and The Celtic Roadshow.
