Llandrindod Wells Town Council have said that a group of youngsters have been seen trying to damage the electrics on the roof of the Bandstand with a stick.

The incident was reported to the Clerk, who immediately went to check, but the youngsters had left the scene.

A spokesperson for Llandrindod Wells Town Council said: "Can we please ask local residents to be vigilant if they see any vandalism being undertaken within the town. Please take note of the culprits and report damage to the police.

"The damage which is being needlessly carried out puts pressure on the Town Council funds, which is being funded by you, the Council Tax payer and spoils local facilities for everyone."
