Brecon FC’s under 7’s team and a U10/11s team travelled to Hirwaun this weekend to take part in a football tournament.
The tournament featured teams from Cardiff, Pontypridd and all over the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. Playing in a highly competitive set of games Brecon FC Juniors were flying the flag for juniors football in Powys.
The U7s won all four games across their fixtures showing great teamwork and being clinical in front of goal. The U10/11 gave a good account of themselves losing two, drawing one and winning two - all against very strong opposition.

Billy Brown of Brecon FC said: “It was a fantastic day and carry’s on from where our all girls left off from their outing in Aberystwyth in April.”
