MMP MID WALES LEAGUE DIVISION 1
Johnny Samuel struck twice in the closing minutes as Builth Wells snatched a 3-2 victory over Bow Street in the MMP Mid Wales League first division.
The Bulls maintained their recent form with Danny Ives having reduced the deficit after the visitors had forged a two goal interval lead.
Tom Williams gave Bow Street the lead from the penalty spot following foul by Luke Hicks. Builth were probably the better side without ever testing the Street ‘keeper and they went further behind with Tom Wyn Roberts netting on the stroke of half-time.
Ives pulled one back from a Josh Price cross and Sam Williams was denied when his 25 yard free-kick was superbly saved. Dean Evans missed a glorious chance for Bow Street and that was to prove costly as on 86 minutes, Samuel equalised with a 25 yard screamer before securing all three points when his cross cum shot eluded everyone.
In the only other first division game to escape the weather, Carno drew 2-2 at home with Llansantffraid Village. Joe Morris and Josh Matthews netted for Carno with Jake Harris and Nathan Prodger replying.
