RADNOR Valley notched up back to back Cup wins by reaching the semi-finals of the ER Jenkins Spar Mid Wales League Division Two Cup with a 4-3 success over Churchstoke.

Having knocked first division Bow Street out of the League Cup the previous week, Steve Pigott’s side made hard work of it in difficult conditions against their Montgomeryshire rivals.

Lewis Morris and Callum Davies put Radnor two up but Churchstoke hit back through Josh McGlyn and Joe Haycock. Jake Baker then put the visitors ahead but Radnor snatched victory through Jack Williams and Callum Matrthews who bagged the winner two minutes from time.

Abermule are also through, without kicking a ball, after scheduled opponents, Bont conceded while the two other quarter final tiers were postponed on Saturday.
